Dry skin  also  can caused by health problems , such as diabetes or kidney  disease . using too much of soap , perfume and taking hot baths can make dry skin worse . some medicine can make your skin itchy . because older people have thinner skin , scratching  can cause bleeding and that lead to infection . 
some ways to help dry , itchy skin use moisturizer , like lotion , creams , ointments everyday. take bath and shower and use milder soap . warm water less drying than hot water . don't use bath oil to your water . it can make too slippery .

BRUISES 
Older people may bruises more easily than younger and adult people . it take longer for bruises to heal . especially on parts of your body usually covered by clothing . 

WRINKLES 
Skin change with the age . skin begins to wrinkles . things in the environment , like ultraviolet  [UV ] light from the sun  it make your skin tan and damage your skin cell . certain habits , like smoking can wrinkle  the skin . some of the methods are painful and dangerous and many doctor  trained the skin problems  called dermatologists .

Some sun rays are good  for you and keep your skin healthy . 
 1. LIMIT TIME IN THE SUN :
Go out during the day , but try to avoid the sun during peak times when the sun's rays are strongest . 

2. USE SUNSCREEN :
Sunscreen with an SPF 15 or higher . the sunscreen on 15 - 30 minutes before go outside . sunscreen should apply every 2 hours .

3. WEAR PROTECTIVE CLOTHING :
A hat with a wide  can shade your neck , ears , eyes  and head . the sun wear loose , lightweight , long sleeved shirts and long pants or long skirts. 

4. AVOID TANNING :
Don't use sunlamps or tanning beds . tanning pills are not the U.S.  food drug administration [ FDA ] 
and might not be safe .
